Year 3 Scratch Lesson 2

In today's lesson students are learning about how to use Algorithms and to Program using Scratch!

Year 5 Cryptography Introduction

This week we started to introduce year 5 to Cryptography.

Out lesson PowerPoint can be seen below which you are free to take a look at.

Students started by making up their own ciphers and trying to write coded messages to each other

Students found this task quite difficult and we learnt that Ciphers done by hand were very difficult to do!

This is how we started to talk about using computer programs to do this for us to make thing more accurate and fast!

Next week we are going to be using this site to test out Caesars Cipher!
